The Town of Grand Chute Police Department provides full 24-hour police services to the 21,288 residents of the Town. It also services the "daytime population" of our community, estimated to be over 70,000. This includes about 20,000 people who work within the Town (of which 10,000 are residents), over 40,000 daily visitors to a regional commercial shopping and entertainment district, students of a regional technical college, and patrons of our hotels and motels.

The Town of Grand Chute Police Department is staffed by:

Chief of Police: Greg Peterson

  • Field Operations Lieutenant: Michael Velie
    • Five Supervisory Staff Sergeants
      • 18 Officers Assigned to Patrol, including K-9 Officer
      • Seven Community Service Officers
  • Technical Operations Lieutenant: Colette Jaeger
    • Three Officers assigned to Investigative Services
    • One Officer assigned to Police School Liaison Position
  • In addition we have:
    • Three full-time Record Clerks
    • One part-time Record Clerk
    • One Administrative Assistant
